|English Lang and Lit||Every Monday and Tuesday lunchtime, RAW is available for additional support, question help, Coursework guidance in room 12. Specific revision sessions may be planned according to need after Easter. Students may book individual tutorials with Mrs Withington.|

|Geography||Yr 12 Students should use the Yr 12 section of the geography department website and Y13 should use Yr 13 section which give an overview of the course and further links to articles.They should also follow our twitter feed which regularly links you to relevant articles in the news. AQA website: The exam board website can be accessed here with details of the course, and downloadable past papers, mark scheme and further information.
Students should also make use of the AS and A2 groups on Google Docs where lesson by lesson resources are available.
|16a resource library: students can make use of various magazine catelogues and the book boxes (reading list provided on google docs). They can either use private study periods to work in 16a, or borrow books as needed to use at home.Google docs AS and A2 conferences: Weekly extra reading (such as PDF’s and news articles) are placed on the conference sites- students should make use of these to supplement and broaden their knowledge on a week by week basis, as well as using them as an additional revision tool.Skills Booklets: These are provided at the start of the year as a supplement to the core content taught in lessons. Students should use these to prepare thoroughly for all of their exams, and specifically for GEOG 2 and GEOG 4a.AQA workshops: Mr D Redfern, the Chief Examiner for Geography at AQA, usually visits the Isle of Man to carrying out Saturday worskshops for all geography students on the IOM.
