Governors and Elections

St. Ninian’s High School Governing Body is an integral part of the management of the school.

The constitution of the Governing Body, its roles and responsibilities, are determined by the Instrument of Government of the School. The current Instrument of Government came into operation on 16th November 2012.

The current Governing Body is comprised of 6 members;

2 Members of the Education Council, appointed by the Department of Education

St. Ninian’s High School Governing Body wish to request nominations for the post of Parent Governor, term of office January 2016 to 31st December 2017.

Letters and nomination forms will be given to students to take home on Tuesday 12th January 2016, alternatively you can down load a copy of these documents below.

The School Governors play a very important role in the running of the school, this is outlined in ‘The instrument of Government of St Ninian’s High School ‘ and the ‘Articles of Government of St Ninian’s High School’.
